Course Overview:
The DOT & AT diploma is a paramedical course designed to train students in assisting surgical teams in Operation Theaters and managing anesthesia during surgeries. Students learn how to prepare the operation theater, handle surgical instruments, monitor patients, and assist anesthetists in administering and managing anesthesia.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (PUC) passed with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
Minimum Marks: Usually 40–50% aggregate in science subjects (may vary by institute).
Some institutions may allow admission through entrance exams or interviews.
Course Duration:
2 Years full-time program
Some colleges may include 6 months to 1 year of internship/practical training
