Course Overview:
The DMLT course is a paramedical diploma program that trains students in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases through clinical laboratory tests. Students learn how to handle lab equipment, collect samples, analyze body fluids, and maintain lab records in a professional healthcare setting.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (PUC) passed with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
Minimum Marks: Generally, 40-50% aggregate in science subjects (may vary by institution).
Some institutions may also accept students who have passed equivalent vocational or pre-university courses in health sciences.
Course Duration:
2 Years full-time program
Some institutes may offer a 6-month or 1-year internship component
