Course Overview:
The Diploma in Health Inspector (DHI) is a paramedical and public health course that trains students in public health practices, sanitation, hygiene, disease control, and health education. Health Inspectors play a crucial role in maintaining public health standards in communities, hospitals, and industries by enforcing health laws, conducting inspections, and promoting disease prevention programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (PUC) passed with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
Minimum Marks: 40–50% aggregate in science subjects (depending on the institute).
Some institutions may accept vocational students from the health science stream or conduct interviews.
Course Duration:
2 Years full-time course
May include 6 months to 1 year of field training/internship
